1- Microsoft Word: My favourite singer: Find information about your favourite singer and write his- her biography. Use the present and past tenses and the vocabulary learnt in class. Include some images to illustrate your writing.





2-     Cd Rom: Students use the Cd Rom that comes with the book to watch a video related to the unit covered in class and do the corresponding activities.





3-   Powerpoint Presentation: A country I would like to visit: Choose a country and find information about its culture and geographical features. Students use images to illustrate the place.




4- Beamer: My Community Project: In groups, students find information about a community work they can do in their neighbourhood and choose a project. They use the beamer to show their work to the rest of the class. 


5-    Flash drive:  Listen to a song and do some comprehension activities.

What is Wordwall ?   Wordwall a web-based tool that   offers teachers an easy way to extend and consolidate vocabulary with fun practice. Wordwall can be used to create both interactive and printable acitivities such as multiple-choice, grouping or matching.   There is a wide range of templates, but you can only use up to six for free. These templates are available both in interactive and a printable version. The interactive ones can be played on any web-enabled device, like a computer, tablet, phone or interactive whiteboard. Internet-based project work

Internet-based Project work and Webquests According to Hockley & Dudeney (2007), Internet-based work correlates to project work, in which the Internet can be thought of as an enormous encyclopedia because it gives learners quick access to a wide array of information. There are four compelling reasons why Internet-based work should be included in the classroom: 1.   No specialist technical knowledge is required. Lesson plan using Wordwall I have developed this lesson plan considering my students´ age (15-16) and their level of English (intermediate). I work in a secondary school in San Isidro. English lessons are twice a week and each one is 60 minutes long. The aim is to work on vocabulary about money and shopping. As computer and Internet connection are a must so as to work with Wordwall, I had to book the ICT lab first. So for this lesson, students will work in another classroom. Communicative Goal: Talking about money and shopping Grammar focus: --- Vocabulary focus: worth, bargain, save, spend, rip-off, luxury, consumer, business, marketing, producer, retailer, promote, brand, advertisement.
