What is Voki? What can teachers do with this tool? Voki is an educational web 2.0 tool that allows users to create their very own talking character. Characters can be customized to look like historical figures, cartoons, animals, and even yourself. You can also give your Voki a voice by recording with a microphone, using our dial-in number, or uploading an audio file. These characters can be emailed, shared on social media, and embedded on websites. How do students have to do in this lesson? 1-     They have to create an account, which is for free. 2-     Once they log in, students click on Creations and on the left they will see a bar with different options students can choose to customize their avatar´s features. Assignment 3 Part 3  This lesson plan is aimed at my second-year students in a school where they have their English lessons once a week (the lesson is 120 minutes long). They are at a pre-intermediate level. In the previous lessons, students worked on a unit ‘ When in Rome..’ They read a text about customs and traditions in different countries and what they should and should not if they ever visit that country. In order to expand on this, the teacher asked students to visit the following websites  Interesting customs and traditions all around the world   and then do some research into the same countries mentioned in the text. Students had to find out about each countries customs, traditions. Once they finished their research, students told the teacher what they had learnt. How to use JustPaste.it  Here is the link to  Justpaste.it What is JustPaste.it? It is a text editor. It is very simple to use. The website looks like a word processor, since it has the same tools used to write and edit a text. You can write your own text on the same page or simply paste it from another web or word processor. Images, videos, or hyperlinks can be embedded to accompany or make the text more vivid and appealing. Once you finish working on notes, you can click on ‘Publish’ and you will be provided a link, which you can use to retrieve the text. The link can be emailed or sent to the social media. Assignment 3 part 2: An enhanced lesson plan  This new and enhanced lesson plan is 80 minutes long. The aim of this lesson is to talk about consumer behaviour. It is aimed at students in 3 rd year in secondary school. They are at an intermediate level.
